Wallet Address Usage

When you enter a wallet address, it is sent to public Blockscout explorer APIs (eth.blockscout.com, arbitrum.blockscout.com, explorer.optimism.io, base.blockscout.com, polygon.blockscout.com) to fetch on-chain balances and token data. These are the same publicly accessible APIs used by block explorer websites. No authentication credentials or personal information are attached to these requests.

Your address is also stored locally in your browser (recent addresses list) and is never sent to our servers.

Server-Side Request Logging

When the extension communicates with our servers (e.g. fetching survey configuration or submitting feedback), standard HTTP metadata is automatically logged by the server infrastructure. This includes:

• IP addresses and user-agent strings from incoming HTTP requests

This data is collected for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and service reliability — it is standard server-side logging, not information transmitted by the extension itself. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days and then automatically deleted. This data is not shared with third parties.

Optional anonymous feedback

• We may show brief optional surveys to understand how you use the extension
• Survey responses are anonymous — no personal information is attached
• You can dismiss any survey or disable them entirely in Settings

Survey Integrity Commitment

Our surveys will never ask for:

• Wallet recovery phrases or seed phrases
• Private keys
• PINs or passwords
• Signing confirmations or transaction approvals
• Any form of wallet authentication material

If you ever encounter a prompt within this extension requesting any of the above, it did not originate from us. Please report it immediately at app@tangemview.com and do not enter any sensitive information.

Surveys are limited to product feedback: feature preferences, usage frequency, and suggestions for improvement.

• Wallet private keys, seed phrases, or passwords

• Website content
• Financial data

• Survey responses are processed on secure servers (Cloudflare infrastructure)
• Responses are retained for 90 days for analysis then deleted
• No data is sold or shared with third parties

• Disable surveys anytime: Settings → Surveys → toggle Off
• Clear all local data: Settings → Privacy → Clear All
